Jade Koru Pendant
One of my missions during my trip to Colorado was to go to a bead store I had frequented when I lived there to pick up a jade pendant for myself. Years ago I had purchased one as a gift for a young riding student who had been diagnosed with lupus, because of jade's healing properties. She is now a happy, healthy young adult.
But the little store was closed, so I didn't get my jade pendant.
Until I got home, and Boyfriend had brought this pendant home from New Zealand for me. He had no idea I was looking for such a thing! I'm wearing every day, hoping that whatever magic brought it to me will continue to help me heal.
The Koru is a traditional New Zealand symbol that symbolizes the opening of the fern frond - new beginnings, growth and harmony.
